Preparation
This morning had a lazy start and went to look at a war memorial that had turned up in someone's garden. In memory of people who'd worked for Avonside Engine Co. who made some of our great locomotives before collapsing in the Great Depression and finally being absorbed by Hunslet. There were other things on wiki about gauge sizes and stuff which I didn't understand, bet Mike Simpson would have done....
So tonight was packing. Dive kit is loaded in the car. Hopefully it'll still be there in the morning; have enough clothes to cope with every weather eventuality except for blizzards and asteroid impacts*. Played with the camera housing but still not yet got it wet. Let's hope it's not an expensive test!!!
*no, asteroid impacts do not count as 'weather'
