Flurry

Unlike those of you who have been knee deep in snow for weeks, we've had virtually none on our corner of the world. Heavy frost and ice with the odd blast of sleet, yes but not enough proper snow to make even a tiny snowball.

So, of course, now that the end of the holidays approaches and we might actually need to go somewhere... not to mention the fact that we're down to our last packet of filo pastry and crumb of stilton... it looks like snow might be about to arrive in quantity.

However, the last day of the school hols is tomorrow so we might just get to build a snowman. Or rather, if the past few weeks are anything to go by, a snow mouse.
