Windermere

Gail had a Cumbria Tourist Board meeting to attend in the South Lakes this morning - so she drove me down to Windermere and dropped me off for a couple of hours.

I've always thought of Windermere as the day-trippers location, busy, touristy and a little tacky - how right I was!

I thought this couple enjoying a meat pie each, with the crowds bustling round them summed it up perfectly!
