Wet

Like most parts of the South Island, we have been enjoying lots of rain today.  Our famous tree is slowly going under the water, but it is still a haven for a few shags who have flown in for shelter.

When I took this photo on the way to get some petrol, the lake was fairly calm, but on the way home the wind had come up, and the waves were beginning to roll.  Will be nice to spend the evening in front of a nice fire.
