Chattering Sparrow

Work today consisted of staring at a computer screen answering emails, working on a project, attending a meeting, and teaching a class. On my way back to the office, I stopped at the pond for a few minutes before an upcoming meeting to drink my water and take a few pictures. Sitting on the lawn close to the pond's edge put me close to the little birds, the sparrows and swallows, the small blackbirds, all out in abundance, so I was able to take a few pictures of them. The ducks on the other hand were having their mid day nap in the shade on the other side of the pond. This sparrow had a mighty chatter going on for a while there~ :)

Pete just texted me that he wanted me to post this one for yesterday but that he fell asleep before he ould tell me. So here it is! It's Bay, my horse friend. I went out to feed them apples before work since I haven't been there in ages.
