Broch of Gurness

This amazing site is so well preserved - it made me wonder how the people lived in these surroundings.
I spent a great evening at the Pickaquoy Centre in Kirkwall watching Cinema Live. I thought I had missed the opportunity of seeing the National Theatre performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night but it was here in KIrkwall - a holiday bonus!
