Bennachie Ponds

The weather was pretty damp and driech, but I stuck the littlest in the backpack anyway and had a wander around the colony trail through the forest at Bennachie.

The forestry commission have recently cleared this area of woodland as part of their forest plan and are creating a pond to improve water quality and aid wildlife.

Back at the centre after our walk my littlest got quite animated watching the birds on the feeders through the window in the hide. A twitcher in the making perhaps?
