Foundation Stone

Wednesday June 20th 1900 at 1230. HRH The Duke of York visited Helmsley in North Yorkshire to witness the laying of the foundation stone for Helmsley Town Hall.

It has recently been proposed that the Town Hall become a Tesco convenience store. The application has fortunately been thrown out.
