Green spadix

I love my Peace Lily, a plant that I rescued from a work bin many years ago.
It flowers like mad and clearly is very happy. I grabbed this shot of the very young spadix (it will change colour over the next few days when the tiny flowers appear) first thing this morning. I just love the bright green colour and strange structure.

Weird, grey, wet day...and that was just at work let alone the weather.
As always I am the positive nutter at work, trying hard to buoy people along..You have to have a giggle or 2....we certainly had a few today.

Absolutely nothing planned for this evening...how wonderful is that?
