Thirty years ago today a bunch of Americans turned up off he Essex coast on the radio ship MV. Communicator, and began to shake up the British radio industry, with their american style music shows.
Unfortunitly they were so successful and caused such a stir, the british government were forced to take action, that forced them to close down after only one year of broadcasting
