What is this?

Some - quite many - finns have a peculiar habbit to take kittens and later as those cats grow adult - especially in countryside - the cats are allowed of even forced to take a hike, often late in autumn: A lot of cats are abadoned every year. Often just left alone to the country as the family leaves to the city. Or if the family live in the country, they do not take care about the cats at all, but cats live half wild. Just THINK what is means to a cat as the winters are really cold here...

I wish this cat could tell his story. We found him from the rental cottage area this spring. Very friendly and tender cat. Bitten in back and one foot sore, there was a deep wound, maybe one nail lost. He clearly had parasites too...

I cleaned his foot and put some antibiotic powder to it and made a bandage to him. And called for cat rescue of the area. If the cat still is there next week, if the owner is not found on the area, the cat rescue will take him to the vet and tries to find a place for him.

I really do think that you have to take care of the animals you have.
Fortunately he is so cute. Should be easy to find a good home to him!
