Disgruntled of Sheffield

Today has been about the garden. A trip to the garden centre to get more plants and a trough, then dodging the showers to do a bit of weeding and planting. The day seems to have flown by. I also took delivery of a consignment of bird food. Recently the bruiser birds have been finishing off much of the food within minutes of it going out, so I also invested in a ground cage which only the smaller birds can access. It has been great fun watching starlings, wood pigeons, collared doves, magpies and jackdaws trying and failing to access the morsels inside the cage. To be fair, there is still plenty for them - they won't starve.
