Colourful remains of a feast

Not mine but birds who seem to be unable to eat the claws of these crayfish. I collected them yesterday up at Lake Salougou when I went to find the coypu again. These were lying around in pairs on the rocks. A beautiful day until this evening when the winds got up again and filled the clean pool with debris - but there was a double rainbow as compensation when the heavens opened.
