OUR BOY

The Rev and I went to The Shard for lunch at the Shangri-La where our boy O is a chef!
As we stepped out of the lift I was quite overcome!!! Our job as a parent sort of completed!!

Then we were given the menu for our 3 course lunch (only £30). This was promptly taken from us as O had arranged a 8 course taster menu...most of which he had prepared
# scallops .....then we had foie gras and risotto and John Dory....(forgot to snap them!!)
# lamb, mushrooms and apple
#chocolate mousse and pistachio crumb (this was a pre dessert!!!)
# rose water parfait with champagne jelly.
Followed by coffee and a birthday plate...might blip that tomorrow!!

Also this happened......
I might have said about O being filmed for an ITV documentary....well we were also filmed and interviewed. However typical man The Rev did not think to tell me....no make up or hairbrush!!!!! MEN
I needed lots of tissues as we were asked how proud we were of him!!!

TODAY'S SMILE: The Rev's 1 hour lunch break turned into nearly 4 hours!!!!
