Being in London on the much hyped European election day only reinforced the fact that the UK's diversity is something that every single person in the country must embrace and see for the positive thing that it is. One of the only things that can make me feel patriotic (other than the 2012 Olympics) is remembering what a brilliant melting pot of diversity we live among.

I was devastated that I couldn't get to my polling station within its opening hours, as although it's vital to vote in any election and we shouldn't listen to Russell Brand's idiocy, this election more than any other has scary possibilities.
