All Taped Up...

.... and nowhere to go!

We had a busy day ahead of us today! We had until 11am at home and katkatkat decided she would sort my fridge and larder unit. Help! That's only second to letting her loose in the garden with the secateurs!

Lots of stuff was thrown out but thankfully she found nothing dated before 1986! OK, that was only mulled wine sachets, nothing serious.

We had a good lunch up at The Toby Carvery before buying lots of plants and herbs at Houghton Hall. Then we went to see The Mother. She was missing from her bed but we were told by other patients that she had gone for an echo angiogram and would then be going to theatre! We went looking for her and as we were pushing her back to the ward her surgeon spotted us and told her he had an emergency op so couldn't do her op today! SO! She had had a second day of nil-by-mouth for no result.

You can tell from this shot of her hands that she has no reserves of fat. My followers know how difficult it is for me to get her to eat at the best of times. She weighed 7st 10lb on admission. We left the mother with her rings taped up wondering what will happen tomorrow.

My weight however is much more, especially as tonight we went out to Albany House, a 15 seat restaurant which has to be booked 4 months in advance! We celebrated The Sis-in-Laws birthday. A great night!
