Mallard Mama

I was cleaning some debris from the terraced area of our garden when I startled a duck under an evergreen. Actually, it was more like the duck startled me! Later I had my husband check to see if she was still there and she again moved from her perch under the tree - this time exposing 7 (or 8?) eggs! Of course I had to grab my camera and she glared at me tolerated while I snapped a few photos of her and her eggs. Looking forward to seeing her ducklings soon!
