everything is awesome

Well, not a bad day so far anyway.

The husband and I walked the dogs over the marshes. The buttercups were up to my knees so way over they pups' heads. I must try to take a picture of them bouncing along through the long grass. Grace particularly gets over excited. Laugh a minute watching them.

Alice and I collected my grandsons in time to go to the cinema to watch The Lego Movie. Of all the seats to choose in the dark I ended up sitting next to my ex-husband and his new family. I didn't notice until eldest grandson started chatting to the boy next to him (his same-aged uncle). Groan! The boys enjoyed the film and we only had to make one toilet trip for the youngest.

KFC for lunch followed by a shopping trip to buy some new playdough and colouring things. Rain has stopped us going to the dog show where my daughter and sister are respectively organising and competing.

I was crouching down to take a photo of the girls on the swing when Alice walked behind me eating a Brownie. They were disappointed not to get any but were rewarded with a biscuit to make up.
