Artsy

One of my students (on the far left) got her painting included in an exhibition for Japanese artists. This week it's in Nagoya, so I met up with her and one of her classmates on my day off to go see it. She prepared and practiced and was able to explain her painting in English. Very proud of her, very happy to spend a day outside a classroom with my students.

This was a painting done by one of her friends (next to the painting) of a persimmon tree in her garden. Very nice lady, added to the day.
