I seemed to have been lucky enough to have the only dry hour for my riding lesson this morning, although youngest wasn't so lucky and abandoned his riding Boris who was extremely wet and bedraggled by then.

In another dry spot a very quick nipping out to the garden for this shot of my alliums (another of my garden favourites).

Looking forward to another birthday meal out this evening, this time with friends as one of them shares the same birthday week as me.
