Free Skate II

In the parking lot of our local ice cream stand, there is a small ice rink. Every December the family that stores the plastic liner pulls it out of their garage, shakes out the mouse poop, and sets it up on a flat spot. The fire department comes along with a pumper truck and pumps water from a nearby fire pond into the rink. Someone leaves a shovel out there so people can scrape of the snow. Old man winter does the rest.

A friend who lives in a neighboring town cannot believe this rink is out there for anyone to use. Free of charge. I can't believe more people don't use it.
