Poland in New York
So, this is a glimpse of my street in Brooklyn. We live in a borough called Greenpoint where 90% of the people here are Polish. Let's just say it makes things interesting but I have grown to really love it here. This picture is taken right above one of our favorite late night markets called Jubran. The nicest man runs this place and his brother owns the Laundromat right across the street that we use on a weekly basis. We lived in Eugene for years and would rarely run into people we knew and here it is the exact opposite. My husband got so excited when his family came so he could introduce them to our local market guys. It's unbelievable to know we are in one of the largest cities in the world but we have found a little community that takes care of us.
