Day 144: Welcome Home

Four years ago this weekend we drove up on this little cabin with a "for sale" sign in front of it. We spent two weeks searching the whole southeast for a place to move with our alpacas. Like a divining rod, we were led back "home" to Mentone. We called the realtor right away, and found out that the cabin was part of a five acre property that included a house and a fenced in garden that would serve as a perfect pasture for our four "boys". We put in the bid, got the financing, and four months later we left Wisconsin and moved in. This cabin now serves as Don's studio, but we also welcome guests, as it is fully equipped to live in.
