Saturday: Split at Night

I have stayed in this hotel quite a few times now and have always really loved this view of Split that you can get from the balconies.  It's a bit less prettified and a bit more urban but I do like it, particularly at night.   And it's also been a good excuse to play with my tripod which I brought all the way down.

We went for a good long uphill walk this morning to enjoy the view from the Marijan Hills - which, of course, necessitated liquid refreshment at the top - where we also had a good walk round the old Jewish Cemetery.  And today we were very sensible and had a light lunch, instead of the mounds of food we have recently had and which has sent us off into a soporific stupor..........

This evening we opted for a nice meal at the hotel which included a very nice sea view.....
