Musee d'orsay

First stop Arch de Triomphe this morning and then a leisurely walk to Trocadero for the boys first sight of the Eiffle Tower which looked magnificent....and then the downpour started. We took cover for a while but it didn't last long, we walked along the Seine towards Musee d'Orsay, where we visited the Van Gogh exhibition which was amazing and then the Impressionists on the 5th floor. The building, a former train station is absolutely beautiful!

The afternoon was bright blue skies and warm sunshine, we took the metro to Monmarte and visited Sacre Coeur, the views over Paris were breathtaking, the church was beautiful and we sat for a while and rested, listening to the prayers taking place.

We had a delicious meal in Monmarte before heading back for the evening!

The forecast is looking good for tomorrow.
