Whorls

A year's worth of weather today - from blue skies and warm sunshine all the way through to hail, with everything in between.

It didn't seem to bother the snail on our garden steps - certainly not as much as my lens almost touching his shell to capture this attractive shape. (A lot more attractive, at any rate, than the snail's head!)
