After a slow start (this is to be expected on the first day of half term) we finally got mobile just after lunch. We packed in a visit to Cheshire Ice Cream Farm in the rain (animals, ice-cream, soggy crazy golf) followed by the candle workshop where the children made their own candles and decorated candle holders. I visited my Dad whilst Mike and the children managed a pub dinner. Half term day 1 accomplished :-)

The view is over Beeston in the rain and the mist, visibility was poor!
