Slug!

Our last day in the Lake District - home this evening.

I took the family to visit Aira Force and Green Hill, by Ullswater - having liked them so much when I was on John Gravett's Lakeland Photographic Holiday 2 months ago. I got some nice photos, and was going to blip one - when we came across this "lovely" specimen of a slug on the path near the waterfall. When I placed the camera down close to it, it seemed to look at it and pose for its portrait - so how could I resist?

Best viewed large - if you are not too squeamish! ;-)
