Pier Walk

After a rather large and heavy lunch for my father-in-law's birthday (a day early) we needed some activity to burn it off. C and I set out for a little bike ride, and then the four of us walked down to the waterfront.

The weather is absolutely perfect today, the blossoms are bursting everywhere, the grass and leaves are that perfect spring green.

It was a similarly perfect day 19 years ago today that I said goodbye to my beautiful mother for the final time.
