Snowfield
Today I ventured forth in the thick snow - so much easier going than the icy pavements we've had of late. This was the view of a nearby field. I imagined it filled with kids building snowmen and people with mad dogs chasing snowballs. But no such luck - tresspassers are verboten.
Had an encounter with a giant snowclearing truck, driving down the road like a bat out of hell, spraying mushy black snow onto the side of the road where I was standing at the traffic light. I leapt behind a lamp post for shelter, which was asking a bit much considering my ample bod. Still, it gave the folk in their cars, waiting for the lights to change, a bit of a laugh as they inched their way to work.
Hope you're all safe and warm.
