Vindolanda

This picture represents part of a reconstruction of Hadrians wall . Vindalanda was a huge roman fort which is set in beautiful grounds. Walking part of Hadrians wall has been a fantastic insight in our history and today I was fortunate to meet a wall walker who talked about the history of the wall during our 7 mile walk this morning.
