An empty beach bar!!

Why does it always rain on Bank Holiday weekends?????

Bank holiday weekends should be for sitting in the sunshine, drinking wine with friends, at the beach bar. Instead, Ann has just frittered the whole day away and not achieved anything.

I went for my morning walk in the rain and it’s continued to rain and rain and rain.

At about 3pm Ann said, ‘Molly, this rain is never going to stop. You’ll just have to have your walk in the rain.’

I had a little run off lead and then we traipsed around town. St Ives is very busy this week and all the holiday makers were mooching around eating ice creams and pasties. Holiday makers often drop things so I was hoping there’d be a few bits of pasty on the ground. But do you know what? …………………there were loads of greedy seagulls about. And greedy seagulls are scary. Greedy seagulls are actually brave enough to swoop down and steal ice creams and pasties out of holiday maker hands. So I didn’t manage to find any bits of pasty to eat.

Home now. And it’s still raining.

We’ve had to put the heating on tonight because it feels like winter. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
