Unwanted Visitor

Yesterday we noticed a wasp building a nest in the front porch. We watched it for a while as it worked building a sphere, ensuring it was safely secured to hand from the roof and then as it started to make small chambers inside in which to lay its eggs. We had to of course remove the nest but we were fascinated by its structure and how it had been constructed.
