How does your garden grow

Very well if it's the garden at Lauriston Castle and it's in a rainstorm. EdiSteve and I retreated inside for a tour of the house, which remains as it was in Edwardian times when rail carriage designer William Reid bought the property, which he donated to the City of Edinburgh. As luck would have it, members of Edinburgh Historical Reenactment Society (name probably wrong) were there so we met cooks and the master and mistress of the house, and the gardener and more. It was most informative, and then we had tea and cake.
