A day trip to Newcastle to catch up with my good friend, Ruth. Across to Gateshead and the Baltic and then on the Metro to Tynemouth (so not much time in Newcastle itself). A good day, but far too quick.

I am so lucky and blessed and privileged and I would never dispute those facts, but some times I wish life was a bit different. I don't know why I don't seem capable of living life to the full, whatever that even means. I dunno. Those are just the thoughts in my head on the train home this evening.
