Lord Cobham's Pillar, Stowe

Stowe today. A gorgeous day for an iconic place. I have to confess whilst all that follies and park landscape was rather nice the whole place had a rather unloved feel about it. Strange when it is so famous. The smaller gardens all seemed rather overrun by weeds etc. Hopefully the National Trust and school can get together to sort it out a bit.

This column was the pick of the bunch, had nothing to do with the fact it looked a little like a lighthouse honest guv!
