Learning to feed

Back to Blackford Pond to catch up with the bird life. The cygnets were very busy on the water today, putting their heads under the water. But I don't think they got much to eat - they were simply copying their parents' actions, and were dependent on their parents fishing up weed for them. Seven mouths must need a lot of weed.

It was a beautiful day today, sunny and warm. And the decorator finished my kitchen - what a relief! The cats and I are delighted to have the place to ourselves again.
