The Laburnam Tree

I had the pleasure of playing drums again today with Zig Zag Big Band in Sloans in Glasgow.

We had a great audience and the band is sounding really tight these days. The only downside about the gig is that 'the venue is on the second floor' and being a drummer with lots of equipment those are words I hate to hear!

I was approach my a member of another local big band at the gig and asked if I would 'dep' for their drummer who is heading off on holiday soon.

"Send for the polis, it's Harry Margolis"

My blip is of the laburnam tree in the garden where I park my car. I'm no horticulturist but I do love the beautiful yellow hanging flowers at this time of year.
