No sign of the council.

A neighbour has taken it upon himself to grit the footpaths himself. He is doing it the old fashioned way, with ashes from the fireplace. He must have about 2 tons of it. Where did he get it from? Follow the trail of ash behind him. God bless him, now there is civic duty at its best. We won't see the council till the taxes are due.
