Mother - daughter

Mary and I have been friends for many years. We met at curling and soon after formed a mixed curling team together with our husbands. Young Emily would occasionally watch our games. We saw her grow over the years and heard about her accomplishments. It was a pleasure getting to know grown up, fun loving Emily with the infectious smile on this trip.

Mary and Emily joined a walking tour of Amsterdam today. Afterwards, I met them at the Museumplein. Emily enjoyed the sunshine and the buskers outside, while Mary and I viewed the masterpieces indoors at the Rijksmueum. I like this photo of mother and daughter that was taken as we relaxed at the end of the day. Emily looks so much like her mother!
