deserted beach at the edge of the world

this is one of the beaches of Barley Cove, not far from the Mizen head, about as far west as you can go.

We felt the need of a change of scene this evening after the day we'd had.
Yesterday we were horrified to find a patch of dry rot in a corner of the house. The corner where my computer lives, on a wall lined with books. Everything had to be moved.
We are now doing everything in one room while the problem is dealt with. It could take a while.
