its asparagus time and our village holds an asparagus auction all donations go to the village silver band which is one of the last in the region its a really fun evening and lots of money is raised and of course every one buys asparagus for lots of money so the band can carry on and buy new instruments
also it is said that the asparagus from our village is the best in the world !!!!!
