bird in grass...

...a combination of colors

blue and green - green and blue

simple really - it was the way in which - the sun was catching them - the light reflecting off the bird's back - the depth of the grass - allowing the magpie to sort of sink in to the ground - getting a better perch - for the colors to refract against the blades of grass

i've probably not done it justice - for how it appeared to my naked eye - that's my fault - and i apologize - for the error in not knowing how to translate it through the camera... but i've tried - 'cuz it wasn't a huge complicated thing, truly - i was just after the simplicity of it all - the raw use - of a plain - yet, beautiful magpie - and the even more plain and elemental - grass - hopefully it's made for...
