It's Snow Beautiful Here

Our son woke at 7 this morning to announce there was snow everywhere. Our children are 11 and 12 years old and seeing snow in the morning is nearly as exciting as Christmas. Nearly that is.

It was time for me to head off to work today so we all went to Queenstown airport via Cromwell on a snowy and slippery road. On the way I snapped this shot from the Wanaka marina.

Tomorrow I'll be in a hot and humid Malaysia, couldn't be more of a contrast.

With our very ill friend foremost in our minds it was a harder than usual goodbye to my family.
