High tide

The tide was unusually big this afternoon on my drive home from local cafe so I stopped to take some photos. This was a few waves before I got wet! Fortunately the cell phone didn't! I got so many great shots I was hard pressed to choose just one. A little further along the same coast a seal had climb up and over the sea wall and was lying beside the road. I took a photo of him too, I suspect he was taking a rest after battling the huge and rough seas. I later heard a few hours earlier a man and his dog out in a small boat had to be rescued, and all the while the sun shone.
