The Kelpies

This was my second visit to Andy Scott's phenomenal sculptures in West Lothian.

This was taken with a Sony A580 & grip, fitted with a Konica Minolta 11-17mm lens and it was all atop a Manfrotto 190 ProB tripod (since the exposure was a little long to handhold!).

Certainly this is quite magnificent - and well worth driving through to see. The lights come on at 20.30 - about the same time they lock the barrier on the outside of the car park our using..
