Morning...6:15 a.m.

Oh the sights we saw on our boat ride this morning!!

Brody and Belle spent the night...Brody and I got up at 6 and headed for the lake...and we were richly rewarded!!

We saw...........mist rising before the sun did
.....................deer running up the hillside through the woods
....................a beaver swimming home to his lodge
......................a huge tom turkey courting his harem
.....................a raccoon peeking over a rowboat at the hen turkeys
.....................a blue heron flying to his nest
but most of all I got to see Brody taking it all in and loving every minute...identifying the birds with me as they flew over.

We also saw Canada geese, a female oriole, kingbirds, red-winged blackbirds and robins.

What a great start to our day!!
