My Beautiful Laundrette

This was my only blip today. The laundrette folks have had some festive fun. It made me smile as I waited for the bus to the hospital.

Other potential blips:

The Book of Dave. I have become an out of pocket Amazon Marketplace Seller. Postage greater than profit. I'll know next time! Mind you, there's a recycling satisfaction but Oxfam would have been a free alternative. The love of money.....

The Orthotist. He often has a student in his clinic. Today's was quaking in her shoes working out what they needed to do to fix my shoes.

The Doctor. Elegantly wrapped in a shawl in a rather chilly surgery. She had a wise, knowledgeable but 'Mystic Meg' look about her.

The snow. More snow, and even more snow.

The essay. A work in progress which will not meet the deadline but will hopefully be finished before the extension expires. My commenting rate will fall off for a few day folks. Sorry.

Which me luck or maybe some wisemen.

Uninvented timekeepers presented arms.

Happened. Only dull peace
Sprawled boringly over the earth.

This was the moment when even energetic Romans
Could find nothing better to do
Than counting heads in remote provinces.

And this was the moment
When a few farm workers and three
Members of an obscure Persian sect.
Walked haphazard by starlight straight
Into the kingdom of heaven.
