"Why is no-one looking at me?"

The Yorkshire Sculpture Park was crowded today. But not everyone was looking at the actual sculptures. Henry Moore's "Draped Seated Woman" seemed to me to be most put out by that.

The star attractions today were Ai Weiwei's Iron Tree and an extensive collection of the work of Ursula von Rydingsvard including her Damski Czepek (or "lady's bonnet.")

As always there was lots to see - a running child, some woodland path art and some complicated reflections.

Runner-up in today's blip choice was "Network" by Tom Price. I also got thinking about titles for art works. We walked up "71 Steps" by David Nash. An accurate count revealed that there are in fact 71 of them. How much better it could have been if there had been only 68 ("oh, we are at the top sooner than we thought") or 73 ("buy 71, get 2 free!")
