Falls of Bruar
On the way home from Grantown to Glasgow we stopped off at the House of Bruar and had a walk up to the lower falls - all we had time for - not to be missed if at Bruar!
Would, then, my noble master please
To grant my highest wishes,
He'll shade my banks wi' tow'ring trees
And bonie spreading bushes.
Delighted doubly then, my lord,
You'll wander on my banks,
And listen monie a grateful bird
Return you tuneful thanks.
